By sending an e-mail via this system you are accepting ALL responsibility for its contents and any consequences ocurring because of the e-mail. You are agreeing that if procedings are taken against you, or someone suffers due to your sending the e-mail, you will accept all blame and penalty and will not attempt to pass any of that blame or cost on to any of the providers of the MailFool system. If you do not accept this responsibility, DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM. This system is provided as a means of sending 'practical joke' (prank) e-mails, it is not provided to be used as a way of forging e-mails! To that end, a tracking id is included in every message (see later) which will allow the recipient to identify who really sent the message. If you wish to send completely anonymous e-mails, or non trackable forged e-mails then there are systems available on the internet which will allow you to do this - MailFool is not one of them, we are trackable because its safer for both you and us! # e-mail contents We ask that you are sensible when putting your e-mail together. Please bear in mind the possible reactions of the recipient! By sending an e-mail via this system you are accepting ALL responsibility for having sent the e-mail, so consider what might happen when the e-mail is received. The recipient WILL be able to track the e-mail back to you - that is part of the security in this system. Consider who the recipient is. Will they be offended by the contents? Are they likely to lose their job because of the e-mail? Are they likely to suffer any other loss because of the e-mail? Are they likely to be caused distress by receiving the e-mail? If the answer to any of these questions, or similar questions is yes, then, in our opinion, you should not really be sending the e-mail. Always remember, it is traceable back to you, and you will be accepting ALL resposibility for sending the message by sending it! E-mails are restricted to 1kb (1024 characters) of text, they can be shorter if you wish! Only simple text messages are possible (this is to prevent viruses and offensive material from being sent!) Attachments are not allowed, and binary data or uuencoded data is not allowed! If any illegal characters are entered into the message, they will be stripped out in the system. HTML markup will be removed from messages. We may also replace some characters which could potentially cause the system to fail. Characters such as quotation marks and greater than and less than symbols are replaced by 'similar' characters. The review version of the message which you are asked to confirm will contain any character changes and content stripping we perform, so you can review the message before sending. It is specifically forbidden to use MailFool to attempt to obtain passwords, PIN numbers, bank details, or any other sensitive/private information. Anyone found in breach of this last point will be reported to their ISP and the relevant authorities. # Tracking Appended to the bottom of every e-mail sent will be a note identifying the message as having been sent via MailFool and giving a tracking id. This tracking id will allow the recipient to visit this web-site and run a query which will identify you as the sender of the message. By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to allow us to divulge this information to the recipient of the message (or anyone entering the message id and matching e-mail address!). # Other information Any replies to the prank e-mail that you send will be sent directly to you without passing through the MailFool system. (Your name and e-mail address will be displayed in any reply when the recipient clicks the reply button in their e-mail client.) e-mails you send which are returned as undeliverable may be returned directly to you or may be returned to the MailFool system. A log of all messages is kept along with the relevent e-mail adresses. This is for security purposes. This information will be divulged to the concerned parties should any criminal investigation be initiated as a result of a message being sent.
